The entire process takes anywhere from 2.5 to 3 hours. The majority of the time is spent perfecting the stencil of your brows. I strategically place lines to form your brow stencil and stay true to your natural brow shape. I work on your stencil meticulously to get them as symmetrical as possible. I get your input during this process so that the brow stencil is up to your standards. Please keep in mind that Brows are sisters, not twins. This step is tedious because it is literally the foundation of my work.
After we agree on your stencil we move into the numbing process. I apply a topical numbing cream that contains Lidocaine and cover the area with a saran-like plastic for 30 minutes. During this time I go over the aftercare instructions, demonstrating how to care and clean your new brows during the healing process. I go over the purpose of each item inside of your aftercare kit and answer any questions you may have. I also take them time to introduce you to all the materials and tools I will be using during the Microblading process.
The Microblading process is the last step. During this time I make multiple hair-like micro incisions to the brow area, creating strokes that mimic the appearance of brow hairs. I make one complete pass to the first brow, then reapply numbing cream while I work on the next brow. The second application of numbing cream is more effective because the skin is broken. I make a total of two passes per brow, filling in gaps with strokes and defining the shape.
Voilà! You have beautiful brows. Once your eyebrows are revealed we will take some after photos and then I will demonstrate the application of the aftercare ointment.
